Has anyone tried chantix to stop smoking? -

I have a prescription for chantix and wanted to get opions or advice on what u thought of the med and if it worked 4 u.Congrats on deciding to quit. Using chantix makes it so easy, we now refer to it as -quitting the weenie way-. I started taking in in October and then got both of my bosses to quit too. The first week, I didn-t think that it was going to work. About half way through the second week, I realized that I had been all day and hadn-t smoked since that morning. The last few times that I smoked, I didn-t even get halfway through before putting it out. I just didn-t want it anymore. Sometime around the third week, I started to get an upset stomach if I didn-t take it with a meal or snack. I only stayed on the Chantix for about six weeks. I got to a point where I was just forgetting to take it.

Good LuckA friend of mine is taking it and says that its working for her, she has to stop because she has a large lung mass (lung cancer) don-t wait too late like her.I know one person who wasn-t very committed who had a smoke 30 minutes into it she said it didn-t work. The other person I know Quit smoking but says it probably affects the hunger part of the brain cause she is always hungry now.Chantix has worked for many that have quit smoking with few side effects. not yet. my dr said it had a 45% success rate. the zyban only had a 10% success rate. it is supposed to be totally different
