i have patches, and the instructions say not to cut them. what is the reason for this? how does cutting them effect or change how they work?just follow the instructions

its probably because there is a certain dosage on each patch.My doctor told me I could cut them. The nicotine is in the glue that sticks them to your skin, it can-t leak. They tell you not to cut them for the same reason shampoo bottles tell you to lather, rinse, repeat. They don-t want you to prolong their use, so you have to buy more.cutting them can make them leak
