It helped me after stop after smoking for 33 years.The only people that can-t quit are the ones that don-t want to..You have to find something that will finally convince him to quit.
Everybody knows it is a disgusting addiction.
Everybody knows it is bad for your health.
Everybody knows there are 100 different ways to quit.
But nothing will work until they really want to quit and can find the self discipline to stop buying them and the willpower to not give in to the cravings.I understand there are free programs, aids, etc... There has never been a better time to try to quit. Maybe you could pick up some of those free samples, and brochures and leave them on his dresser.A reason to quit is the key to quiting.
I quit after 55+ years and 5 packs a day
My reason, the tax was going up another $10 a carton for the State to use for pre-pre-school, at smokers only expense
There was already a $20 a carton tax for pre-school.
For some folks, putting a picture of the kids in his cig pack.

I think smokers have got to want to stop them selves,because even with no smoking aids,it takes alot of willpowerwellbutrin and alot of family supportTHERE IS A NEW PRESCRIPTION OUT THERE CALLED CHANTIX. I HAVE HEARD OF SEVERAL PEOPLE WHO HAVE AND ARE QUITTING. YOU CAN GO TO THE WEBSITE AND GET MORE INFO. IT IS ONLY PRESCRIBED BY A DR AND NEEDS A WRITTEN SCRIPT. MY FATHER IN LAW SMOKED FOR 30 + YEARS AND QUIT WITHIN 2 MONTHS.stop lighting them up and dont inhalethis is how i got my dad to quit , just keep throwing away the packs or cartons he buys , every time he buys them throw them away , if he lights a match blow it out , if u see a cig in his mouth snatch it , this will show him how much you care about his health and he will realize that he just is waisting his money because you keep throwing away his cigarettes lol. It worked with me!
