Stop smoking pill Chantix? -
Im going to starty this today.Have you tried it? Has it worked for you?
I would like to know if it is effective.
I have tried cold turkey, nicotine gum, and wellbutrin.
Cant take wellbutrin it makes me break out.
So if you think chantix works - hit me up!Okay...I-ve been smoking since i was 16, and I am 48 now...so that-s 32 years...I-ve tried patches, gum, laser, wellbutrin (zyban, Bubropan) and nothing worked...I have been on Chantrix for 1 month now...the first week I did smoke a few, but less than a 1/4 of my regular daily intake.
Since taking this I have noticed my desire for cigarettes diminish rapidly. Although It has only been a month, this stuff works better than anything I have done before. Today I am sitting here on my PC (where I would usually be chain smoking) and the desire is non existent.
I will probably get the second months prescription, but won-t fill it unless I see a need. But this has been the easiest, if quitting smoking is ever easy, time I have had. I really feel like this was the key to my quitting.

TOmMy friend Mark , has been on that , an it worked for him , he used to Chain Smoke all the time , Now i dont see him with a Cig at all .. it-s crazy !!
Much Luck , Hope it works for ya !!Chantix definitely works. It makes those first couple of weeks of not smoking a lot easier. I stated taking it in December, 2006.
I still got minor cravings but they don-t last long. I-ve already stoped taking Chantix and haven-t smoked since 12/25/06. I did get minor stomach pains and gas while taking it but they weren-t a big deal. I think it-s a great helper and would highly recommend it. good luck!!!I read sucking on a lime helps u stop smoking(the natural way)
