What made you stop smoking? -

im doing a assignment for collage and i need to no what makes people stop smoking so please answerI reached the filter.I-d smoked on and off since I was in my late teens. I was never a particularly heavy smoker - very much a social smoker (or anti-social, depending on your point of view!)

At the grand old age of 41 I got ill (nothing to do with the smoking) and I spent 10 days going in and out of hospital. It was the wake up call I needed. The whole experience was hideous. Being in that place with all those sick people was just awful! It made me realise that if I carried on smoking, I was hugely increasing my chances of becoming one of -those sick people-.

I stopped then and there and haven-t had another cigarette since (that was two years ago).1st i had my tonsils out due to recurrent sore throat etc... then i had a growth appear on my throat and glands . i smoked for 30 years!

it took a death call to wake me up totally , i tried many times previous to this for my son , so i would still be here when he grew upseveral reasons-

Money
Health (asthmatic)
The house - family stank of smoke
It was becoming increasingly antisocialFor a certain percentage of people the reason why they stopped was death.

I stopped smoking marijuana and have been experincing vision problems? -

Hi, I quit smoking marijuana 3 months ago. About a month after I stopped I started having fuzzy vision in one of my eyes, It seems that my vision is continuing to deteriorate. Up until this point I have had perfect vision.

I do have a history of glaucoma in my family.

Is it possible that my quitting marijuana has anything to do with my vision problem?Although marijuana can lower intraocular pressure, it is not generally considered to be very effective compared to prescriptions that are on the market. Thus, your increasing blur theoretically could result from optic nerve damage due to your eye pressure going up after stopping marijuana, but it is more likely just a coincidence. On the other hand, your unexplained blur should not be ignored, nor should your family history of glaucoma. Only a thorough exam by your eye care practitioner can tell you for certain what the problem is. Be sure you go to someone who will dilate your eyes to get the most comprehensive evaluation, and please do not delay.marijuana improves ur vision?

i herd some basketball player is trying to make medicated marijuana legal, yes i said legalI understand that smoking pot helps with glaucoma. Maybe you need to have an eye examination.
