It-s So hard to stop something you have been doing so long. Please don-t criticize me. I just want help. I-ve tried several times to stop smoking. What should I do.?well when i was trying to quit i started eating to replace it then i started to get over weight so i tryed different things and the thing i found that helped me the most was sunflower seeds they dont make you gain weight really and when you get the urge just snack on them get the ones with the shells though plus it takes our mind off smoking plus grapefruit juice flushes out the nicotine out of your system and big red gum takes the urge down too hope this heps good luckTwo years is not that long. My grandmother smoked for 40 years and quit without any aids or support whatsoever. If she can do it, so can you.

You are too young to smoke, and you understand the health risks. Use that as your motivator. You will suffer from health problems, that is guaranteed. You might not die (although you have a 30%+ chance of dying from smoking-related reasons in your lifetime), but you will suffer from problems.

So, it-s up to you. You know the risks from smoking, and you want to quit. So, do it. Or, have your parents buy you Nicorette or another quit-smoking aid.well, you are addicted now, it will be easier to quit if you find out why you started, bad home life, peer pressure, parent that smoked, not good in school etc, then get some help, from a doctor, you have to take the gum properly, and you have to buy it so be wise and get a recommendation on the right grams to take, so you don-t waste money, then join a smokers support group, try the hospitals, kind of like AA for smokers, understand what the withdraw is like so you know why you are mean to people, when you quit, realize that you are worthy of being Healthythe person said don-t critisize geez. well i-m 11 and if ur parents don-t already know then u should get an older sibling or someone u know u can trust. then u could,like other ppl said, buy gum. or u could ask ur docter and pretend u have a family member who u want to convince 2 stop smoking and ask him or her 4 sugestions hope this helped good luck!!!i smoked for six years and then stopped.. i just had the will to stop i didnt use anything if u do try hard enough you can stopnicotine gum?

because my mother cant stop smoking.Get her cigarettes, pull one out of the packet in front of her, stick it in your ear/nose/**** and put it back in the packet, shuffle them around and give them back to herUnfortunately the only person we can change in our lives is ourselves. We can not change others.
I am in the same situation as I am quitting smoking myself very soon and have begged my 70yr old Mom to also stop as I see it affecting her health with chronic Bronchitis and if tested, I-m sure she would be diagnosed with COPD and/or Emphysema.
She hacks and coughs something terrible to the point her face turns beat red and seeing her that way only helps me want to stop even more. I have a set date and am banning her from smoking in the home we share.
After an auto accident in which she cared for me for several years when I couldn-t drive or walk, I got a settlement and wanted her to move in with me for all she has done for me. She was able to retire at 62 and would still be working if I hadn-t been so very blessed to get a settlement that allowed me to purchase a new home and put the rest into annuities that pay monthly for my life.
Last night I made her promise me that she would get her lungs checked out by more than just a chest X ray.
I too am addicted to this terrible product that should be illegal but I will conquer it and I can only pray that she will follow by my own example but we can-t force others to do the right thing even as I cried saying to her that I don-t want to lose her sooner than I should in my life.
She no longer has to be my caretaker but she is my one and only Mom and I love her dearly.

See if your Mom is willing to make any promises to get her health checked to see how bad the damage is at this point. Maybe if they see how bad the damage already is, they may stop but only because we show love and not a constant nag to stop.How about you call up the QUIT line in your country, ask them the same question, and then try to get your mum to have a little chat to them on the phone.

I would have thought you couldnt have heroin in any form when you are on suboxone. The naloxone in the suboxone would send you into instant withdrawal. You really dont want to do that.

If you are still craving after your suboxone dose you need to go back to your treating doctor of counsellor to organize a larger dose. Dont take no for answer. If you-re doctor is worth their salt they will not hesitate to increase it for you. This programme is designed to be as painless as possible, but that doesnt mean you wont feel a thing. It-s your doctors responsibility to make sure you dont suffer too much. So.... go back, get more and good luck.uh oh! That dosn-t sound good how bout you stop smoking completely!

And I dont wanna stop smoking either.you probably wont unnlesssssss your a slut!There-s no chance as that is not the way it is transmitted, it is transmitted thru infected fluids being injected into the blood stream.Somewhere between zero and zilch.
