hey Sayit K, great decision. destroy everything related to smoking, keep yourself busy and plan your days. Know your smoking triggers i.e what would possibly want you to start again.

Read more around smoking relapses. usually people who relapse lose all will power thinking they have lost it all. yet smoking relapses are common and actually considered normal. you just need to know hoe to get out of one should it happen. Should it happen also know that it happens sometimes up to 12 times before walking away smoke-freeNicotine Anonymous is a Non-Profit 12 Step Fellowship of men and women helping each other live nicotine-free lives. Please give me a list of reasons why
And please dont just say addictioni dont now either, y do they make these horrible things, they kill people and yet the shops still sell them, if it was up to me i-d distory them all but i guess it not as easy as tht, most of my family smoke,(thank god my mum and dad dont, my dad used to, but i made him quit buy destoryin all his fags when he were out, with the help of mum) but i made one of my auties promise me they would quit 4 new years! anyway im just hopin the rest of my family will soon quit! it really upsets me =-[it is an addiction, a physical and emotional addiction. It is stronger even than heroin in it-s addictive qualities, it is readily available (nicotine) and still socially acceptable.(tho less so now than in the past) And people do enjoy it. It is something that gives some a sense of control over the choices they can make in their lives too.
There are as many reasons as there are smokers for why they continue the habit.personally i think its jus u get used to having it around ad when its not there u want one cuz u feel like u are missing something.

example: i would drive to school everymorning smokin one and idk when i run out i feel like im missing something.Tobacco contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive drug.It has an over 70% addiction rate as almost as high as illegal drugs. That is why .I really dont know. My friend let herself get addicted to it to fit in with her -new- friends. I feel bad for her.

anyone tried SOS stub out smoking, instant quit programme. Thinking of trying it so if anyone has any views would love to hear themgo yo amazon or play com and buy the book easy way to stop smoking it really works good luck xxxxxpersonally, i don-t think going to clubs or following specific programmes are the way to go if you-re trying to quit any habbit!.. i think tt if u really really want to quit it hten you will have the motivation yourself to stop... so you should quit by doing so yourself.. you will feel so much happier with yourself aswell!I can see it being a pain to spray this stuff into youre mouth every time you want a fag. in the end you probably will just not bother and have the ciggy anyway. I gave up by reading Alan Carr - Easy way to stop smoking. Buy the book - carry on smoking and read the book. Sounds strange but you will see the light, and just stop smoking. I stopped 3 months ago and found it really easy. Good luck with the quit xxI stopped in 1997 and started again last week on roll-ups. The benefits of smoking far outweigh the hassle of putting on huge amounts of weight and being a miserable sod.If you live in England go see your doctor for advice and maybe some free patches .

Could try www.quitnet.com for advice and help.

I quit just over a year ago and would not go back for anything.

Good Luck
