Of course it is - it-s withdrawal symptoms. You-re doing really well. Don-t give in now. You-ll feel much better soon, when the cravings die away, and be much healthier without all that tar clogging up your lungs. Good luck.Yep your brains going cold turkey doesn-t sound like the patches are doing much for ya...
Are you sure your on the right strenght for what you used to smoke?
People don-t realise it-s not just the not smoking it-s finding stuff to do with yourself aswell!!
I failed...used the patches for 3 months put on a stone got annoyed and had a smoke!!I have heard of people experiencing these symptoms if they didnt smoke very many cigarettes and then start using a patch because the patch is a much higher level of nicotine than what they got when they smoked.Yes it is normal, it should go away with time. That-s why sometimes doctors will prescribe a light anti depressant called Zyban (not to sure on the spelling).Hmm im not a smoker so not very experienced but paranoia doesn-t sound like something you-d get because of not smoking, the rest seem normal. I could be wrong.hi mate yes its normal u are withdrawingPeople who have never smoked will never understand what it-s like to withdraw from cigarettes. WHat you are experianceing is normal. Do you have friends or family you can be around for company and support?
(I have now not smoked for over a year now and I have survived!) The last two times I quit I felt like I was spaced out all the time and it freaked me out. PLease stick with it, you-re doing so so well. Soon you will start to feel normal.

Also, r u using the correct patch dosage? this is important.
I not that you say you-re feeling depressed or as you say really depressed. Maybe you should go to your docs for a chat because this could get worse which is what you don-t want/ Also you can get patches free on the NHS
good luck and keep going

How can i stop smoking? -

How can i stop smoking? -

please help with good ans.I just quit myself. Its been almost 2 months.

First you have to want to quit and be ready to quit. I used chantix. The script is a 3 month long session of pills. Each month is in its own box, and each box has a card of pills for the week.
After my first month of pills, I thought...hey I have it licked and stopped taking the pills. MISTAKE!! I back slid and before I knew it, I was smoking a few a day again. I went back onto the pills. Now I am not even tempted to smoke. I dont even think about anymore. I did every waking moment for a while I wont kid you. And it isnt easy to stop thinking about it either. I chewed a lot of gum and took up exercising. Anything to do while I would have been smoking helped.
but mainly...You have to want to quit as I said, it wont work if you dont really want to.
Good luck!

Edit: I just wanted to add, that i was smoking almost 2 packs a day, and had smoked for almost 20 years. My husband quit cold turkey almost 15 years ago so now we are finally smoke free. You can do it, if you really want to, there are many ways to quit and assistant programs to help you quit. But I can not stress enough that you will fail, unless you really really want to stop!Ask yourself if you are ready to stop being a slave to the habit. Cigerrettes are disgusting, quiting is the best thing I could have done, it-s going on 4 months, now. I was so sick and tired of it, do I have enough ciggs to last the day? Do I have a light? I always smelled like cigerrettes, which is disgusting, I just had enough of being a slave to them, so one day - I asked God to give me strength to not -need- cigerrettes anymore - I haven-t lit up since.smoking is bad for you .. I think you already know that I-ll suggest think about the risk and what may happen to you in the future smoking is not healthy at all it may cause lot of illness .. and we dont want you to be sick because of smoking at least if you want to live longer you should quit ;) or if you cant quit try decreasing the cigarettes you smoke who knows .. you might go from 5 a day 2 a day and to 0 a day ^_~ goodluckI quit 11 years ago, threw the pack away and that was it! I went to the health food store and bought toothpicks that had -tea tree oil- on them, it-s supposed to help you relax. Seemed to work, that and a pocket full of Jolly Ranchers candy for a while. YOU just really have to want to do it.There is an advertisement here in Australia and it says that all smokers have enphacema to an extent.

Think of this way.....you have early stages of cancer ?

IS that enough for you ?call quitline and get a quit kit.
whenever you feel like smoking do something else like have a glass of water, or eat something, or slap your hand idk..

or you can try nicobate or nicorette.both of my parent quit -cold turkey- but what they did was always have a lolipop or a sucker or gum....because after the third day you arnt addicted its just habbit soo they always had something to do instead of smoking!

hope it helpsFor one week put all your used cigarette ends in a jam jar with a little water. At the end of that week everytime you want a cigarette open the jar and have a really good snifffffff!
Worked for me. Good luck!well i have noticed when i take my anti-anxity meds i will stop also their is another medician called chantix (I believe thats how its spelled) good luck!Stop putting the cigarette in your mouth and inhalingMy great grandfather stop his 50+ year habit, more than 3 packs a day with Hypnosis- he-s never lit up since. BEST of luck!quit cold turkey...iono.

trying to pack in smoking has anyone stopped using champix tablets im desperate to stop smokingIf you want to stop smoking look at pictures of lung cancer.
That got me to stop.
Heres a link - http://images.google.com/images?hl=en-q=lung%20cancer-um=1-ie=UTF-8-sa=N-tab=wiI haven-t used those tablets but I did stop smoking (15 cigars a day) some 6 years ago by hypnotherapy. It cost me £60 and it was the best money I-ve ever spent. Never wanted another smoke from that day on, despite trying to stop for 10 years before and countless methods tried.

Good luck whichever way you try - you must suceed
D4741There is a trick to quitting.See yourself as a nonsmoker. Don-t bring your cigarettes with you when you go out. When you get an urge, continue whatever you were doing as any nonsmoker would, Fake it till you make it, my friend.
God bless you and help you with this. He can give you the strength, just ask.
