How Do I Stop Smoking? HELP? -

Im not addicted I don-t do it everyday. I do maybe once a weekend. Im only 15 turning 16 in march. I dont want to get addicted. Most of my friends do it and when im around them doing it i always have to take a puff just to get a buzz. Help me.....uhmm, if you arent addicted then simply STOP. stop hanging out with people that will be a bad influence on you. its as simple as that.Just stop it since you are not addicted to it already. It is better because the effect of being addicted is worst. Download this audio book from http://51w.us/stopsmoking and listen to it. You will see what i mean.Just remind yourself that if you keep doing it you could end up doing it more and more and then you really could get hooked.

I have just recently stopped smoking and I was wondering if anybody had any tips on how to stay off cigarettes? I smoked my last ciggie on Sunday afternoon and was in hospital until yesterday afternoon having an operation, so it didn-t really bother me as I was in a lot of pain and couldn-t really walk. Now I-m home I-m finding that I have major cravings and don-t know what to do with my hands! I haven-t substituted ciggies with food yet so that-s a good sign! Any tips guys? I don-t really want to use patches or gum so if you have any tips that will take my mind off the cravings without using these that would be great! Lulu xStay away from the gum and patches, it takes 72-96 hours for all of the nicotine to get out of your body, you are already there. I would suggest that you use drinking straws or chew on an ink pen. Having just had surgery you are probably spending a lot of down time, being bored, you need to find something to keep you busy. You will have to find what works best for you, each person is different. You have made it through the hardest part so stick with it you are doing great!

www.DrMichaelPaul.comI started a hobby, cross stitching. I find that if I get into that I don-t think about smoking. Any craft store is full of interesting things to do. Another good thing to do is read a book. Before you know it, you have gone several hours without smoking.
