How long does it take before signs of smoking leave you? -

How long does it take before signs of smoking leave you? -

I realize that was a poorly-phrased sentance...

I have a nose-and-throat appointment coming up in about a month. I am a smoker, usually between 1-3 cigarettes per day. Bash, away, I know it-s bad, etc.

Anyways, I am planning to stop/delay smoking 2 weeks before the appointment so that when they look in my nose they can-t tell that I am a smoker. Smoking ahs nothing to do with my nose issues. It is completely unrelated, and I know that last time I told a doctor that I smoked, they were very cold and rude to me. I don-t want that to happen again.

So: If I stop smoking two weeks before hand, will there still be visible signs that I smoke? Residue in my sinuses or the condition of my throat? I know that the body heals itself after you stop smoking, and just wondered how long it would take?about 2 months before evrything os goodWill think about this. It-s actually fairly accurate. Lets say you been smoking for 2 years... Its gonna take your body 2 years to heal from what you have done from smoking.

This is what my doctor told me but another one I see said sure that is kinda correct but your body will never really heal its self from the damage of smoking.

As while with your certain question about the doctor not finding out if you smoke or not. He is going to probably ask if you smoke if he is checking out your throat. Lying to your doctor only makes more problems in the end.

Your body is not gonna heal after 2 weeks of quitting. I just wouldn-t smoke that day you go and wear clean cloths out of the wash so you don-t smell like old stale cig smoke.Never.sometimes it never does. I won-t bash you. I got to watch lung cancer kill my father. I hope your kids don-t watch the same show.
