What can i do to get a good night sleep im also trying to stop smoking need help please? -

1. Eat healthy foods/ Change your diet and what you are eating. Eat clean foods

2. Eat 3 hours before your sleep.

3. Sleep around the same time everyday ( Example: Monday-Sunday -wake up around 8am, sleep at 11pm)

4. Don-t drink any type of liquid that has caffeine within 7 hours before sleep. (No coffee, no sodas, and energy drinks etc).
It takes your body 7 hours for caffeine to completely get out of your system.

5. Wear socks and sleep in a somewhat warm temp room. Drink warm milk before as well. That can help. Don-t do anything that increases your heartbeat before you sleep. Don-t alcohol too. It may help knock you out, but you won-t get that REM/deep sleep.

To stop smoking, you gotta find someway to give yourself a waking call, maybe slapping yourself, go see a doctor to get test on your lungs and you will see your life expectancy and maybe that might motivate you to cut out smoking and live longer. It all starts with the will in your mind.

Cliche, but it-s true. When there is a will, there is a way. You just gotta reach down deep in yourself and analyze why you do it. The excuse -I do it because I-m addicted-, is the lamest excuse ever. You gotta look deeper and find the meaning of why you smoke. Maybe bored, maybe trying to impress strangers, makes you feel cool or good? Why does it make you good?

I-m a person that doesn-t believe in physical addiction ( drinking, smoking, drugs) Every addiction is a mental addiction. Everything starts with the mind.if you want to stop smoking then you should by medicine for it or just quit it yourself. You step up and just quit it. Just stop buying some. Just get rid of smoking in your life. and for a good night sleep stop smoking and start taking showers before you go to sleep so it will make you feel clean while you go to bed. and where blankets.Hey lisa,

I-ve tried just about every method there is out there and there is only one I can recommend - NLP! It eliminates the cravings.
Gum patches and all the other just did not cut it for me, not to mention cold turkey which was the hardest, I even tried the electric cig and it is just no match to the real thing.

J.quitting smoking is a b***h I found anything with cinnamon helps also get the patches. As for sleep try something over the counter check with the pharmacist so they can help you get something that isn-t addictiveFor me I found that going on a bike ride or taking a jog really helps. And for the smoking this is the best time to quit sense the tax just went up on them. My friend said today that the cans of tabacco he got for 25$ are going to cost 55$ tomorrow. LOL sucks for him maybe he will quit smoking. It ain-t worth that mich money!to get good sleep u must sleep in clean and comfortable clothes and in a well ventilated room..
sleeping makes u very active and ur brain works better,......
but i don-t know wat u r suppose to do to stop smoking......
