Nicotine is a tough drug to quit. I did November of last year and I am feeling much better this spring as a result. Quit, use the gum, patches - whatever - but stop for yourself. Good luck ( ;It is terribly hard to quit. Winston Churchill said it best.. He said It-s easy to quit smoking,. I-ve done it a thousand times-
I quit finially with the help of wellbutrin. I am however not nicotine free ( DAMN) I have ben on the lozenges for 3 Flippin yrs now and I-m still addicted,.. BUT i will NEVER EVER light up again. For some reaon that wellbutrin made me sick to my stomach of the thought of smoke in my lungs and I went off the drug in 4 months and went straight to the lozenges. But at least I-m off the smoke! And Oh how I hate smokers and smokie places now ! Good Luck! oxbelieve me, its not hard at all to stop smoking ! the question is.....do you really want to stop ? if you really want to stop, don-t make excuses to yourself........get on with it and you-re a winner !
i finished smoking quite easily an so can you !Nicotine is addictive, there is a certain socialization associated with smoking, and did I mention it-s addictive? :-)Because nicotine activates reward pathways in the brain (like dopamine receptors) which make you become addicted to it and crave it more. It tells your brain you-re getting pleasure, so you want it.Because nicotine is as addictive as heroin.It-s called nicotine and it-s addictive.Nicotine is highly addictiveCause its called an addiction.
